I’ll start off by saying that I don’t watch TV at all. When I say that, I mean I never, ever, watch TV. EVER.
I’ve mentioned that before and I’ve had people say “Oh yeah, I don’t really watch TV either. Maybe an hour or so, but that’s it.” Well that’s not what I mean when I say that. I mean that I’ve watched less than an hour of TV in the last 5 years combined.
Unless, it’s on DVD that is.
I guess this is what I hate about TV:
- Lack of widescreen and video quality.
- Garbage TV shows.
- Having to sit in front of a TV at specific times.
- Commercials.
Anyways, a couple of days ago I went to Blockbuster to pick up Dexter season 3 and found that it was checked out. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a DVD cover for a show called Fringe. I read the back of the cover and saw that it was SciFi so I thought I’d give it a shot (even though it was from Fox).
I’ve only watched the first two episodes but I have to say that I’m impressed. If you’re into SciFi I highly recommend you check it out.
Fringe sucks! It’s a wannabe x-files but kind of missed the mark.
Yeah, I have to *almost* agree with you. When I saw the pilot and the first couple I felt it had a lot of potential so I was excited. But now that I’m further into it, it seems doesn’t make good on that potential 🙁
